These men have been granted
leave under the conditions laid dow in Mr.
Harcourt's Circular Despatch of the 31st.
August, 1914, and the Crow Agents have been instructed to pay them accordingly.
The men desire to be allowed to serve together
in one unit and I would ask that the War Department may be request-
-ed to comply with their wishes so far as it is possible to do so. They have been provided with arms and accoutrements a list of which
is in each man's possession.
4.
At the conclusion of the war they should be
granted a return passage to this Colony where they will be re- -instated in the positions they now hold in the Police Force.
I have the honour to be,
Sir,
Your most obedient,
humble servant,
Amay
